  4. New listserv to explore the future elements of art, media, and entertainment.

The forthcoming Arts/Media Node of The Millennium Project has created a new listserv to identify and explore elements of the future of arts, media and entertainment.

      • We are now indentifying the most futuristic innovators we can find, who care passionately about inventing future arts, media, and entertainment; And want to draw on the 15 Global Challenges to add content to their future art and entertainment.

      • They are being added to the listserv now.  When we go to about 50 or more, we will begin to identify and discuss on the listserv what the elements of the future of arts, media and entertainment might be.

      • When these elements are identified, they would then be used for a Real-Time Delphi Questionnaire sent to 300 or so future oriented arts, media, and entertainment people around world.  We will translate into various languages and use graphics/sound etc. to illustrate the elements.

      • The results would be published in the annual State of the Future and used to implement new forms of art, media, and entertainment – in the same way that the Florentine Camerata (1597 or so) discussed the future of arts, invented the European opera, and then implemented what they discussed as a performance which became the first European opera.  But this time we would like the new forms to be performed on a global basis through cyberspace, Television, in person, in domes, etc.
