The Cyber Node has been initiated and managed by Frank Catanzaro.
It involves researching the state of the art in online collaboration tools, the Open Source Software Movement, and their impact on various cyber futures scenarios. Specifically focusing on web 2.0 and 3.0 architectures, and the role of distributed grid, mesh, and ad hoc computing technology as drivers for the emergence of new social and economic futures. The websites dedicated to innovative cyber tools to be used by The Millennium Project Nodes used to be: www.mpcollab.org and cyber.mpnodes.info (not active since Frank's death.)
Frank also created and maintained The Millennium Project's space in Second Life.
His last project was the Butterfly Delphi:
