Mrs. Younsook Park presented the main goals of the Node, that include:
• Research, analysis, and formulation of various strategies for the future
of Korea
• Knowledge-based network building of the relevant stakeholders
• Hosting of future workshop for the futurists and promotion of international
collaboration
The 2005 Activities include:
• Quo Vadis Ubiquitous: Charting a New Digital Society, May 2005 (Al
Gore and Jerome Glenn keynote speakers)
• Future Methodology Workshop for Korea 2050 members
• Workshop “The Future of Culture & Tourism” (Oct. 28-Nov.
1, 2005, Jerome Glenn keynote speaker)
• “The Future of Korea Youth, 2010-2020" (Jerome Glenn keynote
speaker)
There were several activities (meetings and conferences) conducted by Korea 2050 having Millennium Project's Jerome Glenn, Director, and Ted Gordon, Senior Fellow, as guest speakers in Korea.
