The Gender Stereotypes Real-Time Delphi

This study is was conducted in December 2011.

The study was designed to collect judgments about stereotypes that might apply to women over time and in different cultures.

A stereotype is a cultural construct, a mental idea, which has no scientific basis and can be either positive or negative, or true or false. The questions about stereotypes in this study ask about beliefs in two dimensions: time (have the stereotypes been changing over time?) and culture.

The study was conducted using the Real-Time Delphi technique, and was available www.realtimedelphi.net, study code "images". It was open to anyone interested in this topic.

The study results are available at: www.millennium-project.org/millennium/Gender_Stereotypes.pdf
