Ethical Issues--Round 1 - responses to be
received by 15 October 2004
Millennium Project and Mexican Node invitation to participate in
an international study to identify the most important future ethical issues
that may face humanity in the foreseeable future and how they might be
resolved.

Concepcion Olavarrieta, Chair of the Nodo Mexicano. El Proyecto Del Milenio, A.C., represented the Mexican Node at the Millennium Project Planning Committee Meeting in March 2004. She introduced to the audience the new Node and the Organization she established to conduct the Node's work.

Concepcion Olavarrieta, Node Chair and Eduardo Quezada, Director of the Nodo Mexicano. El Proyecto Del Milenio, A.C., represented the Mexican Node at the Millennium Project Planning Committee Meeting in July 2004. She introduced to the audience the Structure of the Node and its work and Projects.
The Node's Structure consists of a Planning Committee and an Experts Committee.
The Node had a very good response to the Round 2 of the Global Challenges Delphi. From 154 experts invited, 34 responded.
The New Projects include:
- Study on Transnational Organized Crime;
- Building an Early Worning System for PEMEX & CFE;
- State of the Future Index in Mexico;
- Create a Millennium Project Prospective Dictionary/Encyclopedia.
