-Application review/approval of 50 states for licensing of new /existing travel agents, staff management (10 regular plus over 100 temps), Audit & Fraud, Immigration (for all 50 states, training by INS official), Compliance and case preparation for legal actions re airline dispute against travel agencies.  Trained line and field staff (IATA Inspectors); instructed and supervised office personnel in application and report evaluation; review of all types of Airline Fraud and inspection reports; managed and supervised two departments with a regular staff of 10 and numerous temps for more than eight years. Regular audits of all travel agencies located within the 50 states.

 

-SERVICE DEVELOPMENT/AUTOMATION 

Assisted in the development and implementation of a new certification/inspection program for Travel Agent/Airline accreditation, instrumental in the development and implementation of an automated application evaluation system that provided ease of filing for the travel agent applicants.
