Turkey Node was established in December 2005, by All Futurists Association of Turkey, suite to the Turkish delegation attending the Millennium Project Planning Committee meeting of July 2005, in Chicago.

The first project of the Turkish Node is to create a State of the Future Index (SOFI) for Turkey.
