New course on International Relations and Strategic Foresight – Jan. 19-23, 2026

Héctor Casanueva, Chair of the Chile Node of The Millennium Project, is organizing a new online post graduation diploma course on “Relaciones Internacionales, prospectiva estratégica, escenarios actuales y futuros” at the Instituto de Estudios Internacionales.

Objectives of the course, taking place from January 19 to January 23, 2026 and organized by the University of Chile, are presenting an overview of the current international landscape, its complexity, challenges, opportunities, and strategic and existential threats, analyzing possible future global scenarios based on the main macro trends, understanding the foundations and principles of Strategic Foresight and Futures Studies, and gaining an introduction to some methodologies useful for international studies.
