The Dubai Future Foundation brought 37 futurists from The Millennium Project (Node Chairs, Co-Chairs, Board Members, and the CEO) to the Dubai Future Forum. 

Since there were so many from The Millennium Project, we held an informal MPPC meeting to discuss new initiatives the Node Chairs could lead – I will send a separate report on that. The evening before this meeting, Muhammad Al-Mheiri, Dubai Node Chair, very generously hosted a lovely dinner for all MP Node Chairs and Co-Chairs available that evening.

During the Dubai Future Forum, the Association of Professional Futurists (APF Chairman Shermon Cruz and Chair of the MP Philippines Node) and The Millennium Project signed a five-year agreement to collaborate and help found the Global Future Society which might help to fill the former role of the World Future Society. One of our first the collaborations will be the creation of the Dubai SOFI. But more all this as it develops.

Next stop:  Helsinki to keynote the World Forum on Parliamentary Committees for the Future.
