The Finnish Parliament brought me to Helsinki (October 12-15) to keynote the World Summit of the Committees of the Futures (pptx). Finland created their Committee for the Future in 1993 and now is taking world leadership of what may become a global movement for creating Committees for the Future in all countries.
The next Summit on Committees for the Future will be held in October 2023 in Uruguay with Chile as a backup. Please share the statement with your own Parliamentary leaders.

The next day I participated in Sirkka Heinonen’s (Co-Chair of the Helsinki Node) workshop on resilience using an abbreviated Causal Layered Analysis (CLA) approach to explore what should/could/might be done during an electricity backout in a large urban multi-use complex.
If you are interested in the results, you can email Sirkka in a few weeks.
Next stop Paris and OECD.
