The Millennium Project extends its warmest congratulations to Reyhan Huseynova, Chair of the Azerbaijan Node, on her election as a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS).
Founded in 1960 by distinguished scientists, scholars, and Nobel Laureates, WAAS serves as an independent global forum dedicated to addressing humanity’s pressing challenges through creative, interdisciplinary ideas that transcend political, regional, or vested boundaries.
Huseynova’s election further strengthens the collaboration between The Millennium Project and WAAS, where Mila Popovich—Co-Chair of the Montenegro Node—serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees.
Huseynova founded The Millennium Project Azerbaijan Node in 2006, hosted by the Azerbaijan Future Studies Society (AFSS), of which she is President. She also serves as the Founder and Director of the University Foundation Courses Foundation Center.
“For me, this recognition is not only a personal milestone but also a reflection of the collective work carried out over many years with exceptional colleagues, students, and international partners in advancing education, future studies, and international academic cooperation,” stated Huseynova, expressing her sincere gratitude to WAAS Fellows, including Mila Popovich and Mariana Bozesan, for their trust and nomination.
The Millennium Project congratulates Reyhan Huseynova on this well-deserved achievement and looks forward to her continued contributions to foresight, education, and global sustainable development within the WAAS network.
