For the past nine years, Futures Week, organized by the Bolivia Node of The Millennium Project hosted by Universidad Franz Tamayo (Unifranz), has fostered collaborative spaces to imagine, co-create, and build solutions for future challenges. Bringing together young leaders, experts, academia, businesses, and public institutions, the initiative connects ideas, knowledge, and action to address the Sustainable Development Goals and the 15 Global Challenges through workshops, labs, panels, and innovation experiences.
Futures Week 2026, focused on Towards Sustainable Cities 2030, will take place in Santa Cruz from November 3-6, 2026. The event provides a platform to design healthier, educational, creative, sustainable, and technological cities by integrating foresight, participation, digital fabrication, and innovation. At its core lies the vision to empower new generations to not only imagine the future, but actively participate in building it through co-creation, prototyping, and concrete commitments to transform our cities.
The organizers welcome you to join the sessions, share insights, and contribute to collaborative foresight projects.
