Rosa Alegria Named Winner of the 2026 Future Thinkers Award in Education

The Millennium Project congratulates Rosa Alegria, Co-Chair of the Brazil Node of The Millennium Project, for being officially recognized as one of the winners in the Education category of the 2026 Future Thinkers Award (Prêmio Pensadores de Futuros).
The announcement took place on July 27th during an event held at Inovabra Habitat in São Paulo, where the organization revealed the list of the 50 selected winners chosen from 170 finalists.
With over two decades of experience in Strategic Foresight and Futures Studies, Rosa Alegria was awarded for her contributions to introducing Futures Literacy into the Brazilian education system. The initiative, promoted by Futuros Possíveis, aims to recognize professionals and leaders whose work actively expands society’s capacity to navigate complexity and shape future scenarios.
