INSPIRE Project Art Exhibition on Futures Scenarios – April, 7/June, 30, 2023

The INSPIRE PROJECT 2023 art exhibition called “Intensity. Future scenarios and other stories” will be launched on April 7, 2023 (opening at 7 pm) with performances by Albert Barqué-Duran & George Georgiou and will remain open untile June 30, 2023, at the MOMus-Museum of Contemporary Art-Collections of Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art and State Museum of Contemporary Art in Thessaloniki (Greece).
The works included in the exhibition are a results of intensive workshops within the Inspire Project 2023 run by our Greece Node with the support of The Millennium Project. The workshops applied futures science-based methodologies focused on the future scenarios and inspired by The Millennium Project’ Work/Tech 2050 study. The works resulting from the live process include 40 young visual artists creations, together with those of the leading invited artists Michail Karikis and Albert Barqué-Duran.
On June 1, 2023 (19,00) an open talk with Dr. Jake Sotiriadis, giving a speech on “The Future of Geopolitics: Shaping the Narrative of Tomorrow in an Age of Turbulence”, will take place at MOMus as part of the Inspire project parallel action program that this year has the theme of the Future, in programmatic cooperation by MOMus with UNESCO Headquarters on Futures Research and ACT – American College of Thessaloniki and supported by The Millennium Project. The speech will take place in Greek and is open to the public.
