Through this agreement, Egas Moniz University will officially join the Portugal Node and actively contribute to its initiatives. The collaboration will begin with the organization of a joint side event titled “Futures of the Blue Economy: Science, Innovation and Business”, scheduled to take place in Porto on October 21. The event will be held in the framework of the EU-LAC Academic Summit (October 22–23).
The meeting also included the participation of Ibon Zugasti, Deputy Director and Spain Node Chair of The Millennium Project, and Paul Epping, Chair of the Netherlands Node. Both contributed to the initial planning and coordination of the upcoming side event in Porto.
