New dates for the International course on AGI challenge

Fundación Ética Visionaria, together with The Millennium Project and other partner organizations, launched an international course series on Desafío IAG: Ética, Derechos y Ser Humano en un Mundo IA, in July, 2025 collecting many valuable lesson from experts of the field. This interdisciplinary program explore the ethical, legal, and human implications of Artificial Intelligence, with a strong focus on foresight and global responsibility.
Jerome Glenn, Concepción Olavarrieta, Guillermo Gándara, Asanga Abeyagoonasekera, Héctor Casanueva, Miguel Ángel Gutiérrez, Luis Ragno from The Millennium PRoject were mong the invited experts for the 2025 editions. The course has now been extended into 2026 with additional sessions and group presentations, among which the following hosting MP experts and Chairs:
- February 7, 2026 – José Cordeiro, Venezuela Node Chair: The Death of Death: The Scientific Possibility of Biological Immortality and Its Moral Defense
- March 25, 2026 – Sirkka Heinonen, Millennium Project Planning Committee Member & Helsinki Node Co-Chair: Origins and Activities of the Finnish Foresight Ecosystem
- April 18, 2026 – Concepción Olavarrieta, Planning Committee Vice-Chair & Mexico Node Co-Chair: Towards a New Legislative Foresight Culture
- May 16, 2026 – Erika Vaiginiene, Lithuania Node Chair: Legislative Foresight in Lithuania.
